The 14.9 MW Maya Khola Hydropower Project, located in Sankhuwasabha, has now been linked to the national grid, with a connection established through the Baneshwar substation of the 220 KV Koshi Corridor transmission line since February 16. According to project coordinator Bharat Thapa, energy generated from the 7.75 MW unit has been successfully connected to the transmission line, and electricity from the other unit will soon follow within the next three to four days.
